Reiki
Is learned from Master, the master has to open your third eye using sacred symbols which will allow you to help others heal using Rieke Energy.
There are 3 levels, once you have attained level 3 and practice for many years, you may become a teacher/ master
Its not something that you can learn on your own,,
lots of alternative type schools offer this

There are many websites and books out there that teaches you the techniques of practicing Reiki. You do however require initiation/attunement that is performed by a Reiki III/Master. Such attunements do not actually open your third eye (that can be gained through patience and awareness), but it does raises your vibration to become more receptive to various energies, and also opens up your channel to connect to the healing energies of god (which is something everyone already has, except the attunement helps the flow a bit more). The nature of this is debatable, but the attunement is a must if you wish to practice the Reiki tradition.
I have listed a couple websites that provide information on Reiki. The best way to find a reiki master is to just look it up either on the internet or at a local herbal shop (sometimes). It is important to find a master who is humble, communicative, and have a firm understanding of energy work.
Hope this helps.
Your question is not clear. Do you want to know HOW to perform a Reiki session? If so, I hope this helps:
General healing session guidelines:
When I and a client out for a Healing (Reiki) session, I use a massage table and have them lay down (with clothes on). (If they are extremely large, they are asked to sit in a comfortable chair.) They usually remove their shoes to be more comfortable. A pillow is offered for their head, and a bolster is placed under their knees to relieve back stress.
I use low lighting, soft and soothing music (New Age stuff), and light the candles on my alter. This sets a comforting and relaxing mood which can help facilitate healing. Don’t get sexy with it!!!!! Just relaxing.
Details of a session:
To actually begin the healing session, we talk first – How’s your week been, etc.? Ask about any issues they are working through, etc. Don’t get too personal, but these issues normally come up during an energy session and you need to follow your client’s progress. This line of conversation actually shifts the energy from the mundane to one of healing if you do it correctly. To do it correctly, you need practice and perhaps go to someone who is already gifted in this area for direction.
Now the client is asked to lay on the table and the energy session begins: I start at the shoulders for about 10 minutes which balances OUR energy into one, and at the same time opens up their meridians.
Usually, I will then go to their ankles and make sure the energy is flowing freely through the meridians, etc.
From there, I use my intuition and place my hands where I am guided by my Higher Self. Normal hand placements are at the major joints because energy backs up in these areas. Sometimes I work on the chakras, all or just a few. If there is a specific area of pain I work there also.
The energy usually begins to wane after 45 min. to an hour and the session is over. I always move to the ankles again and make sure the energy is flowing well.
I next take a few minutes to polish and smooth their aura, offer them a stone to ground their energy, or some other method of grounding like Aura-Soma pomanders.
Offer water to drink and sit and talk for a few minutes until they are grounded.
I hope this helps. If you have never had a healing session, I suggest you have several with someone who has experience with such so you can see and feel first-hand what a session fells like and how the environment is set up.
I have an active healing practice and see several clients each week. I learn something new all the time – from using the energy on such a regular basis.
The best way to understand and learn reiki is from a classroom enviornment where you can mentally physically and emotionally understand what it is all about.
I teach Reiki and other Alternative Healing Arts at San Antonio College, Cont. Nursing Ed. in San Antonio Texas. Reiki is abeautiful technique.
I have been teaching reiki since 1995 in Texas. I lived in Japan and Hawaii many years ago so I have an understanding of the cultures, which helps in teaching and helping others to understand Reiki. There are dozens of books out there. My favorite are books by the author F. A. Petter, who did research with his, then, wife Chetna Kobayshi in Japan and who now travels all over the world and teaching Reiki.
Oh and BTW, Reiki is not a religion.
